The loud and very rainy thunderstorm seems to have passed – for the moment – but it made me a little nervous that I might lose electricity and so I’m going to dispense with my usual chit-chat and get this post up for your viewing pleasure.
We have some unique and beautiful pieces this week and I might overuse the word “love” in this post – but sometimes I simply can’t help myself so don’t judge too harshly. I was pretty young when I started my love affair with furniture and design and – in thinking about it – should have pursued some type of career in that field – but then I wouldn’t be here which is a pretty great place to be – so all’s well.
Remember, the Furniture Gallery is another site where you can take a gander at our inventory (does anyone use that phrase, “take a gander” anymore? I’m super dating myself aren’t I).
Let the love begin!
this is a cool side table – thick (3/4?) glass top with decorative base (in second photo I was trying to show you this neat large nail head trim) – priced $60
I love, love, love these two gorgeous side chairs! You could change out the seat cushion filler – but I actually like ‘em just the way they are. Priced $65 each
Man-oh-man – this is a GORGEOUS John M. Smyth Co. two piece china cabinet – though the open shelving in the middle, in my opinion, allows it to be used in different ways (in a library or living room for instances, holding books and knick-knacks). Though, of course, would be lovely in a dining room too! A couple of scratches would be easy to touch up with a furniture pen. Priced $265
gorgeous Italian marble top side table – super pretty – priced $75
amazing antique buffet – I love everything about this piece! – priced $225
two identical demi-lune tables – both in excellent condition by Harden – priced $55 each
gorgeous Italian leather sofa – some wear but otherwise in great condition – priced $365
also by Harden – fabulous hall or sofa table for $55
you know I LOVE wood that’s been stained a color – and these two pieces are a fantastic green! Octagon side table for $35; matching square side table for $50
microfiber sofa – looks okay but you’d probably want to clean it – priced $85
there’s something about the shape of this rattan chair that is wonderful! Excellent condition – priced $65
rattan base and glass top side table for $65 – also in excellent condition
very nice Whalen brand oak secretary – solid and well made – priced $85. Back is finished
hold onto your hat, people – cause this Azzolin Brothers porcelain lamp from 1964 is going to blow your socks off (socks are just warm hats for your feet, right? smile). If you had a spot for this fair maiden and her grape toting basket – you should immediately purchase this lamp! Seriously – it’s amazing. Priced $295
leather? pleather? long ottoman in good condition (some wear on corners) priced $45
I love (oops, there I go again!) these two swivel stools. Very comfortable. Unique shape. Solid construction. Brass piece along the top of the foot rest. In great condition. Priced $80 for the set (it’s 26” from floor to seat)
Manor House chest of drawers for $65 and matching dresser (no mirror) for $45. Good condition
black painted humpback trunk for $45
sweet metal topped baker’s table – priced $45
one piece, beautiful china cabinet – love the burled wood along the drawer fronts – priced $335
GORGEOUS! Young American brand loft bed which includes: twin size bed w/bunky board, desk; dresser; bookshelves; bulletin board (all built-in) and ladder – in excellent condition – priced $325
Valspar signature paint & primer hi-def advanced color – full cans or almost full – colors are shades of green, brown, mustard, yellow and rust. Retails for over $33 a can – we’re selling it for $10 a can. Further proof that you never know what you might find at Jubilee Furniture!
I can’t wrap up a post filled with love without adding my appreciation and love for you, dear reader. ‘Cause you’re simply the best! You could even say you’re the cat’s meow! Now how’s that for dating myself?! Haha!
